Brelford Solutions ("we", "us") builds and looks after websites for businesses in South Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, wherever you are based.
Your name, your business name, the town you work in, your email address and your phone number — whatever you give us when you ask for a free homepage design, buy a build, take a care plan, or simply contact us. If you already have a website we will also note its address.
Payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Payfast. We never see or store your card details.
To design and build your website, to process payment, to keep you informed about your own project, and to run the care plan you are on. If you asked us to get in touch, we use it to do that.
Our payment provider (Payfast), our CRM provider (to keep track of your enquiry or your account), and our hosting provider (to run this website and yours). Meta also receives anonymous visit data through the pixel described under Cookies and tracking, but never your name or contact details. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, ever.
For as long as you are a client, and afterwards only as long as the law requires us to keep financial records. If you ask us to delete an enquiry that never became a project, we will.
This site stores two small items in your browser of its own: one to remember which country you are in, so prices show in your own currency, and one to remember that you have already sent us your details. Neither is used for advertising and neither is shared with anyone.
We also run the Meta Pixel, which is advertising technology belonging to Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells us how many people reached this site from one of our adverts and how many of them went on to ask for a website. It sets its own cookies, and it sends Meta your IP address and which pages you looked at. We do not pass it your name, your email address or your phone number.
You can stop it with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, or change what Meta does with it at facebook.com/adpreferences.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@brelford.com and we will respond within one business day.
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. If you are in the UK or the EU, you may complain to your own supervisory authority.
